An unusually deep niche and sloping ceiling made this corner a real challenge for a wide-screen TV. The TV cabinet is angled at 30 degrees, but the TV is hung on an articulating mount, so it easily pulls out to a 45-degree angle. We built the drywall soffit above the bookcases, which provides a clean transition to the sloped ceiling.
